Obituary of Debbie Wassill

Wassill, Debra “Debbie” ~ Gone to be with her Lord and surrounded by her family on Sunday, May 5, 2013 at the Hotel Dieu Shaver Hospital in St. Catharines. In her 57th year, Debra Lynn Wassill (nee Boyce),Loving mother of Melissa, Kevin . Susie and Aimee. Loving Grandma of Sofie and Logan. Loved daughter of Joyce and Richard Boyce. Loving sister of Susan (Kevin McNamara), Peter Boyce (Michelle) and Ken Boyce (Joanne). Beloved aunt of Renee, Katie, Emily, Spencer and Lindsay. Fondly remembered by her many friends. Debbie was a longtime employee of General Motors and currently employed as a social worker with the St. Catharines YWCA. Debbie will be remembered for her cooking, her humour, shopping expertise and dedicated volunteer work with minor football and many community organizations. Debbie’s family wish to express their sincere thanks for the Hotel Dieu Shaver nurses, staff and Sister Louise. A funeral service will be held at the Silver Spire United Church, 366 St. Paul Street,St. Catharines on Friday, May 10, 2013 at 11am. Officiated by Rev.Jane Capstick.
