Obituary of Richard Scriver
SCRIVER Richard J. 1948 … 2013 ~ Born in Kingston, ON in 1948, Rick passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 11th in his 65th year. Loving husband of Diane Konkin, Dear brother of Connie (Larry Redden); Rick was a talented and successful musician for many years, after which he received his BA/B.ED from Brock University and became a much admired and respected primary teacher in Niagara in 1987. He also continued his music career as a founding member and drummer of the Odyssey Blues Band amongst many other projects. Friends will be received at the Patrick J. Darte funeral Chapel (39 Court Street, St. Catharines 905-685-6584) on Sunday, July 14, 2013 from 1 p.m. until the Celebration of Life that will be held at 3 p.m. A Service will be held in Kingston in the fall. Donations can be made to Boys and Girls club of Niagara or Community Addiction Services of Niagara.
