Obituary of Josephine Fernick

Fernick, Josephine Peacefully at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Saturday,October 19, 2013. In her 80th year, Josephine Frances Fernick (nee Ilc), went to be with the Lord. Beloved wife of William J. Fernick. Loving mother of Dennis (Paulette) and Robert (Joanne). Much loved grandma of Christopher, Amanda, Lauren,Maggie and Carson. Fondly remembered by her family members and close friends. Predeceased by her parents Josephine and Anton Ilc. Josie and Bill were the proprietors of the Jordan Hotel for sixteen years. Friends may call at the Patrick J. Darte Funeral Chapel, 38 Court St., St. Catharines (905-685-6584) on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9 pm.Vigil prayers will be held at the funeral on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at 3pm. A funeral service will be celebrated in the funeral home chapel on Thursday October 24, 2013 at 10:30am.Interment in St. John’s Cemetery, Jordan. Memorial donations to the Ontario Lung Association would be appreciated by the family.
