Obituary of Doreen Payne

Payne, Doreen “Deeny” Passed away peacefully at her home in St. Catharines on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 to be with George in heaven. In her 93rd year, Doreen Payne(nee Delaney), beloved wife of the late George Payne. Loving mother of Gary (Dianne), Jim (Donna)and Joanne (Charlie Dalton). Loved grandmother of eight grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Dear sister of Betty Anne Adams. Fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Special friend of Betty Cumby. Predeceased by her two brothers Dan and Dave and four sisters Fern, Hazel , Violet and Ila. Doreen was a long time honourary member of the Imperial Veteran’s Association and will be fondly remembered by all her friends at the club.Friends may call at the Patrick J. Darte Funeral Chapel, 39 Court St., St.Catharines on Thursday, January 9, 2014 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm.A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, January 10, 2014 at 11am.
