Ganjalouski, Walter (Korean War Veteran) Peacefully passed away at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Saturday January 25, 2014. In his 81st year,Walter Ganjalouski, beloved husband of Rita Knox. Loving father of Susan (Dan Duivenvoorden),Jocelyn (Rob Wilson), and Cindy (Bjorn Walter).Loved grandfather of Angela, Anthony, Tina, Ryan, Philip and great grandfather of Kayla, Kyle and Alex and two great great grandchildren. Fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers and sister. Walter’s family wish to express their thanks to the doctors and nurses at the St. Catharines General Hospital Palliative Care. Friends may call at the Patrick J. Darte Funeral Chapel, 39 Court Street, St. Catharines (905-685-6584) on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 from 7pm to 9pm. Members of The Korean War Veterans Unit 15 are requested to attend a memorial service Wednesday January 29, 2014 at 7pm. A funeral Service will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, January 30, 2014 at 1:30pm. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
