Richard, Muriel

Sadly we announce the passing of Muriel Ann Marie Richard (nee Boucher) on February 25, 2024 at the age of 89 at the St. Catharines Hospital. Mother of Patricia (Jim), grandmother of the late Adam (2021), great-grandmother of Charlie, Mila and Destiny. Survived by sister Anita Falck from Calgary, Alberta and seven nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Annette and Edward Boucher Jr., her brother Raymond (1996), and sister Yvonne (2012).

Muriel was born in Victoria Harbour, Ontario, November 3, 1934. She moved to St. Catharines in December of 1963. She worked hard and raised a family of 3 stepchildren, all of whom she was very proud of. They sadly fell out of touch with her as they grew into adulthood.

Visitation will be held on Saturday March 2, 2024 from 11-1PM with a funeral service to follow at 1 PM, at Garden City Funerals, 39 Court St, St. Catharines. She will be laid to rest in Penetang, Ontario along with her parents and siblings.

In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to the Lung Association or Heart and Stroke.
