Jacobs, Joy (nee Willson)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joy on January 31, 2025 at the age of 84 with her family by her side at Heart of Hastings Hospice. Loving mother of David Smith (Cindy), Daniel Smith, Gerald Trodden (Smith) (Tracey) and Christine McGuire (Keith). Beloved Gma of 15 and great-Gma of 23. Dear sister of Christine Pacquin (the late Bob). Predeceased by her parents Roy & Claira Willson, her siblings Bernice, Marg, her brother Richard and her grandson Kollin. She will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday February 18th, 2025 at Garden City Funerals, 39 Court St, from 11-12PM. A celebration of her life will be held in the chapel at 12PM with interment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Online condolences may be shared at www.gardencityfunerals.ca
