Herzog, Irene

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister on Friday March 7, 2025 at the age of 91. Irene is survived by her partner Joseph Klein, her sons Howard (Julia), Bruce (Marlene), and Rob (Gisela) and her sister Dorothy Kipness. Predeceased by her husband Wilfred Herzog, her sister Roz Richman and her grandson Daniel Herzog. She was a beautiful, loving, kind, funny and artistic woman, who was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday March 11, 2025 at 2PM at Garden City Funerals, 39 Court St, with interment to follow at B’Nai Israel Cemetery, 100 Bunting Rd.  Shiva will take place following the interment at Rob and Gisela’s home and on Wednesday March 12, 2025 from 2-4PM.
