Valerie Smith

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Valerie Smith on March 10, 2025. Valerie will be deeply missed by her sister, Vicki Leprich (David Leprich), and her brother, John DeNottbeck (Janice Goss). She was a cherished aunt to Lana Leprich, Lauren Leprich, and Danielle Smith.

Valerie’s warmth, kindness, and incredible sense of humour will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Saturday, March 22, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Garden City Funerals, 39 Court Street, with a service to follow at 1:00 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to dress casually and wear bright colours in honor of Val. 

In lieu of flowers, donations in Valerie’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
