BELICH, Margit (nee Kakas)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Margit on April 18, 2025 at the age of 80 at West Hill Care Centre with her family by her side. Beloved wife the late Aurelio (1989). Loving mother of the late Edward (1994) and Micheal (Kelly). Dear Nona of Dane (Natalie) and Adriana. She is survived by her brother Shaunji in Slovenia and many nieces & nephews in Europe, her sister-in-law Carmela and brother-in-law Aldo in Canada. She will be fondly remembered by nephew Frank and nieces Lori and Rosemary in Canada.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday April 23, 2025 from 2-6PM at Garden City Funerals & Cremations, 39 Court St. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Mary of the Assumption, 169 St Paul Crescent, on Thursday April 24, 2025 at 11AM. Rite of committal will follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery.
