Bruce passed away peacefully, surrounded by the people he loved. He will be missed dearly by the love of his life for the last 43 years, Janet. His 5 children who he loved and cherished Jennifer (Frank) Lynn (John) Kelly, Keeryn and Micheal. His grandchildren he loved and had lots of fun with, he was so proud of all of them. Joshua (predeceased 2013) Jesse (Cody) Joey (Abby) Brier (Hannah) James (Victoria) Zackery, Matthew, Morgan, Madelyn, Avery and Bennett, great granddaughters Ophelia and Sienna. Bruce was predeceased by his parents Lloyd and Marion Horton. He was 1 of 9 children Larry, Richard, Eddie, Marion, Patty, Bev and Carol who have all predeceased him. His only surviving brother Ken will miss him greatly. He leaves behind a large extended family of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, brothers and sister-in laws. Bruce grew up having a great love of sports and was a natural, excelling in all the ones he played. In 1981 he founded the Niagara Peninsula 8 Ball League, which he ran in the bars far many years. Bruce was a hard worker, who worked in foundries most of his life, retiring from Johnson Matthey in 2017. We are all so sad you had to leave us, but we are at peace knowing you are pain free now and no more struggling. Rest easy my love. You will forever be my always. Rest easy dad, we will miss you so much. A sons first hero, a daughters first love.
At Bruce’s request he has been cremated and there will be no service. The family will be having a celebration of life at a later date.
