Stanislaw Wilk

August 8, 1948 – August 4, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Stanisław Wilk, who passed away peacefully on August 4, 2025, in St. Catharines, Ontario, just days before his 77th birthday.

Stanisław was born on August 8, 1948, in Kowale pow. Trzebnica, Poland, to Kazimierz and Maria Wilk (both predeceased). He grew up alongside his brothers Franek and Jósek (both predeceased), and is survived by his brother Antek.

He is survived by his loving wife, Irena, with whom he shared a beautiful life. Stanisław was a proud and devoted father to Ilona (Scott) of Red Deer, Alberta, and Joanna of St. Catharines. He is also lovingly remembered by his cherished grandchildren, Isabelle, Matthew, and Justin. He is predeceased by his beloved daughter, Dianna.

Stanisław was loved by everyone who knew him. He had a great sense of humour and was always quick to laugh. He brought warmth and joy to every room and was the kind of person who would do anything for anyone. His happy spirit and generous heart left a lasting impression on all who met him, and he will be remembered for the love and light he shared so freely.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the doctors and nurses at St. Catharines Hospital for their exceptional kindness, compassion, and care during Stanisław’s final days. Their support meant so much to all of us.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
