Obituary of Lynda Holden

Holden, Lynda (August 1, 1945-July 1, 2015) Lynda passed away peacefully with loved ones by her side July 1, 2015, a month short of her 70th birthday. She is survived by her beloved husband Glenn, daughter Tori Reep Buggeln, and son-in-law Brendan. She was the cherished Grandma of Kaitlyn and Simon Buggeln, the dear sister of Nancy Walker and sister-in-law of Ron and Chris Holden. She is fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews. The family thanks Dr. S. Oczkowski and the ICU South nurses at Hamilton General for their extraordinary care.Lynda made many friends during her long career in the DSBN board office. In retirement, she enjoyed needlework, quilting, reading, camping, concerts at Brock’s Performing Arts Centre, excursions with the CFUW Jaunters, and travelling the world with Glenn. A gathering in celebration of Lynda’s life will be held at the Dalhousie Yacht Club (74 Lighthouse Rd., St. Catharines) on Wednesday July 8, 2015 from 3:30-6:00 p.m. with tributes at 4:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
