Mercer, George Suddenly as the result of an accident in Mississauga on Monday, November 12, 2012. In his 64th year, George Mercer, beloved husband of the late Sharon Evelyn Mercer (nee Lumsden). Loving father of David (Tracy), Jennifer (Brian Wright) and Robert. Loving grandfather of Ethan, Brooklyn, Preston, Emma, Madison and Eric. Specially remembered by Joan Desjardins, brother-in-law of David Lumsden (Lorna), his family, cousins, nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Patrick J. Darte Funeral Chapel, (905-685-6584)39 Court St., St. Catharines on Friday, November 16, 2012 from 7 to 9pm. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, November 17, 2012 at 1pm. Memorial donations to the Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
