Obituary of Michael Dunphy

Mike passed away August 30th with family by his side at the age of 59. Mike was a proud Cape Bretoner and sailed for many years on the Great Lakes. He will be sadly missed by Sandra, his loving wife and companion. Father of Douglas and Kristen and stepchildren, Carrie Gale and Crystal (Jeff) Bell. Proud poppy to Tyler, Josh, Emma, Kinsley and due to arrive in October, Carson William Michael Bell. Predeceased by his parents, Chester and Margaret Moore. He is survived by his sisters, Arthena (Wayne) Russell, Lori Chassey and Patricia Eide and brothers, Ronald (Mary) Moore and Gordon (Mary Lou) Moore. Mike will be sadly missed by his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Val and Mike Dembisky, sisters and brothers-in-law, Carol (Joe) Smith, Jo Anne Monych (Steve Gray), all his nieces and nephews, extended family and many friends. Mike loved getting family together for a backyard barbeque and just enjoying the outdoors when he was home. Thank you to Dr. Hughes and nurses at the St. Catharines General Hospital.
