Dave passed away after a lengthy illness in his 63rd year at St. Joseph's Healthcare Hospital. Survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Rosalind, his children Alana (Steve) Greaves and Brandon Kubik, his precious grandsons Mason and Henry Greaves. Also survived by his mother Rose Kubik, brothers Danny (Eleonora) Kubik, Joseph Kubik, mother-in-law Jacqueline Johnston, Aunts, Uncles, sisters-in-law, brothers -in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins. Dave was predeceased by his father Joseph Kubik, sister Christine Misener, Uncle Alan Berak, Aunt Mary Drogoski, father-in law William Johnston and his precious infant granddaughter Finnley Rose Greaves. Dave will be forever remembered by his family and friends. Cremation has taken place. Respecting the restrictions regarding the Covid-19 pandemic (including the requirement of face coverings and social distancing) friends are invited to join the family at Patrick J. Darte Funeral Chapel, 39 Court Street, St. Catharines, visiting Sunday March 20, 2022 from 11 am until 12 pm. A Funeral Service in Celebration of David's life will take place at 12 pm at the funeral home. In honour of David's memory donations made to the McMaster Childrens Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
