A few years after our call to the Bar, Fred phoned me one day. He said a client of his needed a lawyer but he couldn’t take on the case since he would be in a conflict of interest. I agreed to give his client, Mr. Fox, a call. I phoned the number he gave. The call was answered “Good Morning, Marineland.” It was April 1. Fred was like that. He’ll be missed. Dan Toppari
