So sorry to hear that your mom Gloria has passed. Lorne, Alan, Ron, Judy…just two years ago Richard Pariser and I visited Ron in the store and reminisced about your mom and dad and even my dad Murray Lerman and my Mom Rae Leman. Our small community was close knit and our moms played Mahj together, worked for the shul’s Hebrew Ladies Aid and spent many evenings together as foursomes socializing at each others houses. Your mom was an amazing woman, lots of fun and had a smile on her face always. She made us feel welcome whenever we stopped in to the store. Richard and I had a Facetime chat with her just prior to her moving out of the house. She was so happy to hear Richard and I got together after all these years. Please accept our condolences . Lorne, Alan, Ron and Judy: Heard about the passing of your Mom. Even though I left Port in 1965 I still have wonderful memories of her. Can still see her sitting at the maj table playing with Libby, Layla and my Mom (Rae Lerman). The few times that I would make a visit to Port I always stopped into the store to see her.
