Obituary of Elbert McAlinden

McAlinden, Elbert (Bert) Passed away peacefully at the Niagara Health Services Welland Site on Monday, August 28, 2017. In his 90th year, Joseph Francis Elbert McAlinden, beloved husband of Marie Beatrice McAlinden (nee Hoskin). Son of the late Romilda and the late Martin McAlinden. Fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brother Irwin. Bert worked twenty-eight years for the Ford Glass Plant, Niagara Falls. Visitation will be held at Patrick J. Darte Funeral Chapel, 39 Court Street, St. Catharines (905-685-6584) on Friday, September 1, 2017 from 2pm to 4pm. Vigil prayers will held in the funeral home on Friday, September 1, 2017 at 3pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Alfred Roman Catholic Church, 272 Vine Street St. Catharines (905- 934-9703) on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to St. Vincent de Paul would be appreciated by the family.
