Sheehan, Diane Margaret (nee McGrath)

Unexpectedly and peacefully in her home away from home, Hilo, Hawaii surrounded by her family on Sunday, March 12, 2023, in her 87th year. Loving wife of the late Francis X. Sheehan (2013). Beloved mother of Gordon (Carol Ann), Marguerite (Maurice Condell), David, Rebecca, Rachel (Kayo), Vincent (Patricia) and Patricia. Proud grandma of Sarah (Stuart Cameron), Emma (Nick Winch), Alison (Paul Paolone), Jacob, Catherine (Jordan Schmidt), Erin (Steve Dos Santos), Hannah, Chloe, Jimmy (Victoria Brenton), Charlie (Brittany Tyson), Samantha (Austin Turnbull), Molly, Jack, Benjamin, William, Elizabeth, Nicholas, Madeleine, Samuel, Mitsutoshi and Yukie. Great grandma of Sadie, Payton, Brooks, Henry, James, Leah, Nathan, Caleb, Oliver, and Dani. She will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends in Canada and her native United States. Predeceased by her brothers William and Donald.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 from 6-8PM at Patrick Darte Funeral Chapel, 39 Court Street (Downtown). A mass will be celebrated at St. Mary of The Assumption Roman Catholic Church, 169 St. Paul Cres, St. Catharines on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at 11:00AM. Rite of committal will take place at a later date.
