Obituary of Alexander Jessome

Jessome, Alexander Passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, January 13, 2018. In his 72nd year, Alexander Joseph Jessome, beloved husband of June Jessome (nee Paulin). Loved father of Donna Lynn (Chris), Joanne (late Paul), Wayne (Denise) and Don (Patricia). Grandfather of Padmé, Amy, Nathan and Christina who were very dear to him. Predeceased by his parents Elizabeth and Tom Jessome, and by brothers Thomas, Dennis, Gerald and Kenneth. Alex was born in Sydney Mines, Nova Scoita and he worked at W.S. Tylers and on the Great Lakes for many years. He had many friends in A.A.and was proud to belong to the Market Group. Visitation will be held at Patrick J. Darte Funeral Chapel, 39 Court Street, St. Catharines (905-685-6584) on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm. Vigil prayers will be held on Tuesday January 16, 2018 in the funeral home chapel at 8:30pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, 169 St. Paul Cres., St. Catharines (905-682-3843) on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at 11am. Interment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Sydney Mines, Nova Scotia at a later date. Memorial Donations to either the Canadian Cancer Society or the C.N. I. B would be appreciated.
