Obituary of Joan Luck

Joan Eva Evelyn (Berde) Luck (nee Verroche) Our loving mother passed peacefully on January 20th in her 92nd year at St. Peter’s Hospital in Hamilton. Joan loved to entertain and travelled the world with her husband Leonard, taking every opportunity to meet and befriend people everywhere she went. Joan lived fiercely and played by her own rules, garnering love and respect from all who met her. Joan will be remembered fondly for her quick wit and her unwavering love of life, family and friends. Joan is predeceased by her husband of 42 years Dr. Leonard Luck, daughter Grace Ann, brother Fred Verroche and sister Margaret Sobrara. Mother to Lori Ann Luck-Pota (Saverio Pota) A loving Nana to Alia (Chanelle) and Lexi (Yann) Pota. Mother to Dr. Lane Luck (Jo-Ann Luck), with their children Kaitlin Goertzen and Jordan Clark. Joan will be missed by her special friend Angelo Viola. After a private service Joan will be interred at Victoria Lawn cemetery in St. Catharines.
