Obituary of Melvin Repar

Repar, Melvin (December 16, 1946 - March 27, 2018) It is with great sadness, yet much relief, that we announce the passing of Melvin "Mel" Repar on the 27th of March 2018 at the age of 71, after an heroic battle with cancer. Loving husband of Sandra Repar (Westbrooke), devoted father to Stephanie (Kelly), Stacey (Shane), and adoring "Grampa Toots" to Molly and Aubrey. Born December 16th, 1946 in St. Catharines Ontario to Rose and Peter Repar (dec..), he is survived by brothers George (Phyllis ) and Victor (Jackie, dec) and sisters, Rosemarie (Doug) and Audrey (Bob, dec). He was a cherished member of a loving extended family which includes: Pat and Moe Westbrooke (dec), Susan (Robert), David (dec), Doug (Kim) and will be remembered fondly by all of his nieces, nephews, cousins and their families. Friends and neighbours will sorely miss the 'candy-man', who was the life of every party. We will be forever grateful for the care he received at Innisfree House Hospice in Kitchener Ontario these past few months. As per his wishes, he has been cremated and a Celebration of Life service will be held on Sunday April 15th, at Club Capri, 36 Cleveland Street, Thorold from 1pm to 4pm. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to Innisfree House Hospice (519-208-5055).
