Gingras, Eleanor It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mother at her home in St. Catharines on Saturday, May 5, 2018. In her 88th year, Eleanor Maude Gingras (nee Gough), beloved wife of the late Richard Gingras for over sixty-two years. Loving mother of Barry, Jo-anne (Mike Moran), Denise Gingras (George Palotas), Rick (Sharon), Kathy (Kevin Pidduck), Tracy (Drew Vallee) and Marcel. Cherished Nana of Tara Lynn (Trevor Bidal), Chantel (Greg Marotta), Richard and Brooke Gingras, Brett Delvecchio (Jacqueline), Colby Delvecchio, Thomas Moran, Taylor and Mackenzie Vallee. Great Nana of Tanner, Tatumn, Priscilla, Charlotte and Parker. Dear sister of Irene Houtby (late Fred), Charles Gough. Fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by one brother Melville Gough (Flo) and by two sisters Marie Louise Sicurella (late Anthony) and her twin Ethel Rotundo (late Orlando). Eleanor’s family wish to thank the staff of St. Elizabeth’s Health Care, and PSW’s at Paramed who showed great care and compassion. Heartfelt thanks to Dr. John Schultz for his compassionate care of our mother for over Thirty years, it was deeply appreciated. Visitation will be held at Patrick J. Darte Funeral Chapel, 39 Court Street, St. Catharines (905-685-6584) on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 from 7pm to 9pm. Funeral prayers will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at 11am. Memorial donations to the Huntington Society of Canada (800-998-7398) would be appreciated.
