Obituary of Sarah Crystal Drakeford

DRAKEFORD, Sarah Crystal - Passed away suddenly on Friday, August 18, 2023, at the age of 47. Loving mother of Lee Drakeford, Aurora Drakeford, and Anthony Drakeford. Cherished daughter of Margaret and the late Eric (2017) Drakeford. Dear sister of Dawn Frankowski (Fred), Stephen Drakeford (James), Simon Drakeford (Beverly), Deborah Drakeford (Oliver), Joanne Cumming (Will) and David Drakeford. Sarah will be dearly missed by her many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family members. Sarah Crystal was deeply spiritual, a gentle soul and a beautiful woman. She focused on the well-being of her family. She was incredibly creative and took traditional indigenous art and gave it a wonderful modern interpretation. As per her wishes, a family funeral and cremation has taken place. A Celebration of her Life will take place on September 6th at 11 a.m. at Immanuel Baptist Church, 605 Vine St. St. Catharines, ON L2M 3V4 with a reception to follow. Memorial Donations made directly to Immanuel Baptist's Out of the Cold Program in Crystal's honour would be greatly appreciated by the family. A GoFundMe page has been set up to assist her children
