At the age of 58, on February 22nd, 2024, filled with enduring love and cherished memories of

his children and family, Timothy “Tim” Stepien peacefully passed away at Niagara Health St.

Catharines, following his battle with cancer.

He leaves behind all that he lived for, his children, Jordan and Lauren Stepien. Tim will be

forever missed by his brother Frank, sister Donna, and mother of his children, Teresa. Tim is

predeceased by his mother Helen Stepien, brother John “Tiger” Stepien, and sister Patti

Stepien. He will be remembered by his many nieces and nephews. 

Tim had a love for many things beyond his children. He was known for capturing life through a

camera lens. Whether that be at one of the dozens of concerts he attended in his lifetime, or

while enjoying his passion for basketball. His basketball IQ was like no other, though if he would

tell you it went well beyond that… Up until the day before his passing he was still

demonstrating his knowledge by beating his children in games of trivia.

As per Tim’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Friends are invited to join the family at Garden City Funerals and Cremations (Formerly the Patrick J Darte Funeral Chapel), 39 Court Street, St.Catharines (Downtown), visiting Thursday February 29th from 12pm until 2pm. A funeral service in Celebration of his life will take place at 2pm in the funeral home chapel, followed by interment at Victoria Lawn Cemetery.
