Joanna Jewel Parkins

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Joanna Jewel Parkins, on Saturday, November 23, 2024. Joanna was born on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, in St. Catharines, to her loving parents, Cinthia Rougoor and Kirby Parkins. She was the cherished granddaughter of Kelly Wasylowich and William Rougoor, and the beloved great-granddaughter of Cindy Hill and Walter Wasylowich.

Joanna is deeply missed by her uncles, Billy Rougoor and Ryan Rougoor, her aunt Rylee Pilon, and her cousin Sophia  Rougoor. She was predeceased by her great-grandparents, Simone Rougoor and Bill Rougoor.

Though her time with us was brief, Joanna's radiant smile and joyful spirit will forever be remembered by her extended family, including many aunts, uncles, and loved ones.

A visitation will be held on Friday, December 20, 2024, from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, with a funeral service immediately following at 4:00 PM, at Garden City Funerals & Cremations, located at 39 Court Street. A private family interment and cremation will take place at a later date.
