Obituary of Mary Higgins

Higgins, Mary R.N. Peacefully passed away at Niagara Gardens in St. Catharines on on Friday, November 13, 2015. In her 92nd year, Mary Higgins, beloved daughter of the late Margaret and the late James Higgins. Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by her sister Anne and four brothers Jack, Jim, Henry and Frank. Ms. Higgins served as the afternoon nursing supervisor at the St. Catharines General Hospital for many years. Ms. Higgins was a member of the St. Julia Catholic Women’s League and a faithful church member. Visitation will be held at the Patrick J. Darte Funeral Chapel, 39 Court Street, St. Catharines (905-685-6584) on Monday, November 16, 2015 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Julia Roman Catholic Church,251 Glenridge Ave., St. Catharines (905-684-5603) on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at 10am. Rite of committal to follow at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Fonthill.
