Obituary of Louis Gacnik

Gacnik, Louis - Peacefully passed away surrounded by family at the Douglas Memorial Hospital, Fort Erie on Tuesday, May 13, 2014. In his 81st year, Louis Alois Gacnik, beloved husband of Slava Gacnik (nee Breznikar). Loving father of Edward (Connie) and Allen (Monique). Loved grandfather of Ryan, Lindsay, Michael and Burke. Dear brother of Vinko and Ana. Fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by seven brothers. Louis was a retired employee of General Motors and a long time member of Lipa Park. Visitation will be held at Patrick J. Darte Funeral Chapel, 39 Court St., St. Catharines (905-685-6584) on Thursday, May 15, 2014 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, May 16, 2014 at 11am.Interment in Victoria Lawn Cemetery.
