MacPherson, James Passed away peacefully surrounded by family at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Tuesday, June 16, 2015. In his 70th year, James Duncan MacPherson, beloved husband of Ernestine Rossetti MacPherson (nee Smith). Loving father of Jeannette Davidson (late Frederick). Loving “Poppy” grandfather of Stephen, Jennifer, Melissa, Alicia, Roy, Asa, Kayla, Adam, Lee, Karl, Jesse and Ford. Lovingly remembered by his many great grandchildren. Dear father-in-law of Charlene (late Fred). Dear brother of Billy, Wayne, Roy, Joyce (Robert) and Bev (Joey). Fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sons Fred and Christopher. James fondly remembered his fellow workers and lifetime friends at Pec Roofing. Visitation will be held at the Patrick J. Darte Funeral Chapel, 39 Court Street, St. Catharines (905-685-6584) on Sunday, June 21, 2015 from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday, June 22, 2015 at 11am. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
