Obituary of Marilyn Marguerite McGean

McGEAN, Marilyn Marguerite It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marilyn on Friday, November 13, 2020 at the age of 69 in the comfort of her own home surrounded by her loving family. Beloved mother of Marie, Peter (Carrie), George Jr., Sarah, Corie and loving guardian/mother to Hawklene (Dawson). Proud grandma of Jamie Bugg, Candace, Brooke-Lynn, Angela, Deane-Marie, RahShonah, Kelsey, Rielly, Felicity (Flip), Ashley, Carly, Zion, and Bella. Great-Grandma to Rylynn, Aniah and Phoenix. Survived by her siblings; Bob (June), Barbara (Rick), Cyril (Jill), Laurine, June (Ken) and predeceased by her brothers Brian and Gary. She will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and community of friends. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to Walker Family Cancer Centre, St. Elizabeth Health, Care Partners and Jackie Labonte. A special thank you to The Niagara Regional Native Centre’s Wendy Jones, for all her love and support to Marilyn and our family. Marilyn’s children would like to thank their father George McGean for being a pillar to our family. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private family service and will take place by invitation only. Memorial donations to the Walker Family Cancer Centre would be appreciated.
