Obituary of Martin Molek

MOLEK, Martin It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Martin on January 3, 2021 at the age of 85 at Extendicare St. Catharines. Beloved husband of Angela (2011) for 41 years. Loving father of Maria MacGregor (Craig), Martin, Joseph (Kristine), Tony (Lidia) and Danny. Proud Ati of Devin, Tyce, Alexander, Steven, Isabella, Thomas, and Andrew. He will be fondly missed by his brother, his sisters, nieces, nephews, extended family in Canada and Slovenia, and many friends. Martin was a longtime grape grower and enjoyed his work on the farm. He was always welcoming of friends and company, and enjoyed conversation over a glass of his homemade wine. The family wishes to express a sincere thank you to the staff at Extendicare for all of their dedication and kindness. Martin expressed joy for those who cared for him. Due to current Covid-19 restrictions, a private family mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Rite of Committal will follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery.
