I remember Betty working at the Lancer Restaurant in the late seventies. I loved Betty and her zest for life and sense of humor. Betty was loved by many. And after all these years I still see her smile and laughter. I'll never forget the great times my sister twin Joanne and I had working with Betty. Our deepest condolences to you and your family Cheryl

Dearest Cheryl
My Heart goes out to you and your family at this difficult time. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and love for your Mother with me over the last month or so. She was in my thoughts and prayers daily. Take comfort that even though both your parents are now together and happy, that St. Catharines will always be your home and you have many friends who still reside there and will love to see you come and visit. Know that we all love you and invite you to reach out anytime just to say hi for a minute or to chat for an hour. Sending you love and hugs...enough to get you through the times you need them most.

Cheryl and family,
A life has ended! A life well lived! To all of Cheryl’s family, my heartfelt condolences !
Though I grew up in Otter Lake and her father and mine were brothers,I have a few memories of her and uncle Athanase and aunt May. I remember how ,as children ,we enjoyed going to visit them on the farm and remember their regular visits to our store..Aunt May and her green tea! My memory of Yvette’s beauty is for ever present in my mind.
Thinking of all of you and how sad it must be to lose someone dear in today’s strange restrictions.
My heart goes out to all of you. Stay safe

My deepest sympathies to Betty’s family. She was an absolute firecracker of a lady. She told it like it was and had a heart of gold. I spent 10 years with her, as well as Wes. I have missed seeing her this past year, but spoke with her on the phone. I had hoped Covid restrictions would lift so we could see each other in person again, but that wasn’t to be. She’s now reunited with Wes, and all the friends she told me about over the years. Seeing clearly and dressed to the 9’s. I will miss you Betty.

My deepest sympathy for Cheryl and her family. It is hard to lose the ones we love.
May all the sweet memories of your Mom bring you solace during this time. I hope that all the great moments that you were able to have with her before she passed away brings you comfort."
