Obituary of Jean Henry

Henry, Jean August 24, 1936 – March 24, 2021 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jean on March 24, 2021 at Hospice Niagara at the age of 84. Loving wife of Frank Henry for 55 wonderful years. Beloved mother of Jennifer Henry and Joanne Henry (Michael Notaro). Proud grandmother of Jacob. Survived by her brother Walter (Patricia) Sarachman and brother-in-law Fr. John Henry. Predeceased by her sister Mary McInnis (the late Archie) and sister-in-law Josephine Lavelle (the late Anthony). She will be fondly remembered by nieces, a nephew, extended family, and friends. Jean was born & raised in Kirkland Lake, Ontario, in later years moved to Oakville and raised her family. She worked at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital, which she loved being a part of the community. Jean & Frank retired to Niagara-on-the-Lake. Jean was a kind, loving, out going person, she always put others before herself. She loved her home and her family; she will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Due to current Covid-19 restrictions, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at Lakeshore Cemetery in Niagara-on-the-Lake. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff of Hospice Niagara for all of their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Niagara would be greatly appreciated.
