Aarsen, Robena Passed away peacefully at her home in St. Catharines on Wednesday February 25, 2009. In her 87th year, Robena Catherine Aarsen (nee McIssac), formerly of Cape Breton, beloved wife of the late John Emil Lazarus. Loving mother of Blowers Lazarus (Bev), Aloma Boudreau (Ken), Wayne Lazarus, Linda Saltarelli (Michael), Pauline Martens (Leo) and Shawna MacKay. One of a kind Nanny to her grandchildren and especially devoted to Ian and John. Supernanny to her many great grandchildren. Dear sister of Billy McIssac, of Cape Breton. Predeceased by her son John Robert, and her sister Anna King. Friends may call at the Patrick J. Darte Funeral Chapel, 39 Court Street, St. Catharines (905-685-6584) on Sunday March 1, 2009 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday March 2 at 11am.
