Obituary of Daniel Carmichael

Carmichael, Daniel At his home in St. Catharines on Saturday March 7, 2009. In his 72nd year, Daniel “Danny” Carmichael, beloved husband of Sarah “Sadie” Carmichael (nee Kirk). Loving Dad of David Carmichael, Janice (David Himes) and Elaine Carmichael. Loving Papa of Heather, Elizabeth and Eric. Daughter-in-law Bonnie Brooks. Dear brother of Mary Kilpatrick (and the late Peter). Daniel will be remembered by his ‘wee pal’ Nigel. Daniel was a life long member of the Imperial Veterans also serving as former president of the club and also a member of the North American Rangers Supporters Association (NARSA). Fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews. Dear brother-in-law of Ian Kirk (Liz). Predeceased by his sister Ann (Stewart Hay). Friends may call at the Patrick J. Darte Funeral Chapel, 39 Court Street , St. Catharines (905-685-6584) on Wednesday March 11, 2009 from 7 to 9pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday March 12 at 11am. Memorial donations to the local Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Diabetes Association or to Habitat for Humanity would be appreciated by the family.
