Obituary of Margaret Fitzgerald

Fitzgerald, Margaret Peacefully at the Hotel Dieu Shaver Hospital in St. Catharines on Saturday April 18, 2009. In her 90th year, Margaret Isobel Fitzgerald (nee Malloy) beloved wife of the late Alan T. Fitzgerald. Grieving but celebrating her wonderful life, are her loving son Michael, her dear son-in-law Paul, her adored grandchildren Courtney (Dave), Justin, Jake, Brienne and Cody and her great grandchild Rayanna. Fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her cherished daughter Catherine, and by her two sisters Jean Malloy and Mary (Ted Coles). Marg was a native of St. Catharines and will be fondly remembered by her many friends. Friends may call at the Patrick J. Darte Funeral Chapel, 39 Court St., St. Catharines (905-685-6584) on Tuesday April 21 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Julia’s Catholic Church, 251 Glenridge Ave., St. Catharines on Wednesday morning April 22, 2009 at 11am. The Rite of Committal will take place in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Vigil prayers will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday afternoon at 2pm. Memorial donations, to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
