Obituary of Minnie Horwat

HORWAT Mary – Peacefully at the Hotel Dieu Shaver on Sunday, May 24, 2009 in her 95th year. Predeceased by her husband William (2000) and her son Leonard (2007). Special mother to John (Sandra) Horwat of Brighton, Carol (William) Dassen and Muriel Horwat both of St. Catharines. Cherished Nana of Shawn, Craig, Heidi, Lenny, John, Marcia and Shane. Dear great grandmother of Kelsey, Kyle, Evan, Adigun, Lola and Ava. Mary is resting at the Patrick J. Darte Funeral Chapel (39 Court Street, St. Catharines 905-685-6584) her family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, May 27th from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, May 28th at 1 p.m. Interment, Pleasantview Memorial Gardens. Special thanks to the wonderful nursing staff on 2 west at the Hotel Dieu Shaver Hospital. Memorial remembrances made to the Hotel Dieu Shaver or the charity of one’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
