Obituary of Phillip Rubin

RUBIN Phillip - Peacefully at the Douglas Memorial Hospital on Friday January 8, 2010 in his 93rd year. Beloved husband of Clara of 69 years. Dear father of Howard, Ronald and Allan and his wife Heather. Cherished grandfather of Daniel, Harris, Jessica, Lauren and Ryan. Will be missed by his sisters Evelyn Rosen and Yetta Rubin. Predeceased by his sister Pauline Klein, grandson Brett and daughter-in-law Jacqueline. Phillip was a well known and respected business man in St. Catharines, an active member of B’nai Brith, the Civitan service club and the St. Catharines golf and country club. “He loved his golf.” Funeral service was held at the Patrick J. Darte Funeral Chapel on Monday January 11, 2010 at 11 a.m. Interment was in B’nai Israel Cemetery. Many thanks to the staff within the Niagara health care system for all your excellent care and support. Memorial donations to the St. Catharines General Hospital foundation would be appreciated by the family.
