Obituary of Zofia Zelichowski

ZELICHOWSKI Zofia (nee Paterak) … Peacefully at home in Renfrew formerly of St. Catharines on Thursday, January 14, 2010 in her 91st year. Dear mother of Isabel, Yvonne and Paul. Cherished grandmother of six and great grandmother of 5. Will be missed by her brother Frank of Scotland, Ontario. Predeceased by her son Joe, brothers Janek, Wally, Julek, Bolek (Poland) Paterak and sister Veronica (Poland). Zofia is a veteran of WWII where she served in Palestine. Friends may call at the Patrick J. Darte Funeral Chapel, 39 Court St., St. Catharines (905-685-6584) on Sunday , January 17 , 2009 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 5 Oblate St., St. Catharines on Monday January 18, 2009 at 10 am. Rites of Committal in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Vigil will be held at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon at 3 pm. Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
