Obituary of Gertrude Senko

Senko, Gertrude Peacefully at Versa Care Centre, St Catharines on Monday February 22, 2010. In her 82nd year, Gertrude Rosalia Senko (nee Hoffman), beloved wife of the late Anastazy Stefan “Steve” Senko. Loving mother of Ken Senko. Dear sister of Mary Ellen (Mrs. Frank Kurek), Joseph (Beverley) Hoffman and Sharon (Mrs. James Hoffman). Fondly remembered by her godson Stan and her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brother James. The family wish to express the deepest thanks to Dr. Chauhan, special thanks to the nurses and staff of Versa Care for their kind care. Friends may call at the Patrick J. Darte Funeral Chapel, 39 Court St. St. Catharines (905)685-6584) on Thursday February 25, 2010 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Denis Roman Catholic Church, 230 Lake Street on Friday morning February 26, 2010 at 10am. The Rite of Committal will be held at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the St. Catharines Alzheimers Society or to the Niagara Health Services General Site New Building Fund would be appreciated by the family.
