Robert, Gilles ~ Peacefully at his home in St. Catharines on Friday April 30, 2010. In his 76th year, Gilles Roland Robert, loving husband of Solanges Robert (nee Bouchard). Loving father of Christine Robert, Lucille (Craig Fitzsimmons), Denise Robert (Eric Ziezold) and Nicole Robert (Steven Rowsell). Loving grandfather of Robert, Sara, Tyler, Stacey, Stephanie, Melissa, Clara, Martine, Justine and Elisabeth. Great grandfather of Sophie, Charlotte, Davin and Ariana. Dear brother of Jean-Marc (Jacqueline), Maurice (Laurianne), Lucien (late Sherry), Alain (Armande), Lucette (Mike Cocroft) and Ginette (Paul Pasmore). Dear brother-in-law of Linda (late Ghislain), Joyce (late Andre), Lilianne (William Kemp), Pierrette (George Soper), Pierre-Paul Bouchard (Doris), Bertrand Bouchard (Linda) and Jean Bouchard (late Patricia). Fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a grandson Zachary,by two brothers Andre and Ghislain. Gilles was a long time employee of the Port Weller Dry Docks. Darte Funeral Chapel, 39 Court St., St. Catharines (905-685-6584)on Monday May 3, 2010 from 2to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. Vigil prayers will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 8pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Immaculee Conception Church, 99 Garnet Street, St. Catharines on Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at 11:30am. Rite of Committal to follow at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Fonthill. Memorial donations to Immaculee Conception Church would be appreciated by the family
