McCafferty, Robert (WWII veteran) - Peacefully at the Heidehof Home for the Aged in St. Catharines on Tuesday July 20, 2010. In his 90th year, Robert Charles McCafferty, beloved husband of the late Elsie McCafferty (nee Piens). Father of Patrick (Bette) McCafferty, Ronald (Susan) McCafferty and Maureen (Frank Szick). Dear Pappa of Shawn (Sue), Shane (Krista), Karen (Pierre), Brian (Joni), Heather (Zach), Antoine (Dana), Angela (David), Traci (Blair) and Christina (Burke) and his twelve great grandchildren. Fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brother Frank. A family service was held at Patrick J. Darte Funeral Chapel, 39 Court St., St. Catharines (905-685-6584). Interment was in Pleasantview Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Fonthill. Memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
