Obituary of Ruth Possen

POSSEN, RUTH, 95 passed away peacefully after a courageous battle, on Thursday, September 9th, 2010. Beloved wife of the late Leo Possen. Loving and devoted mother of Uri Possen (Rhoda), Miriam Maguire (Lee), Hannah Rosenbloom (Steve). Survived by grandchildren Jonathon (Nina), David (Merle) and Rachel. Great grandmother to Joni, Liora and Jonas. Aunt of Irma Pappenheim (Jim) and many other cherished nieces and nephews abroad. Funeral service on Sunday, September 12th, at 2:00 p.m. at Patrick J. Darte Funeral Chapel, 39 Court Street, St. Catharines (905-685-6584), and burial following. Shiva after burial. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the B’Nai Israel Synagogue or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
