Obituary of Janet Jamieson

Jamieson, Janet (Jan) Peacefully at the St. Catharines General Hospital on October 25, 2010. In her 84th year, Janet Robertson Jamieson (nee Greer), loving wife of Archie Jamieson. Mother of Stewart and Fraser. Jan was a world champion Highland Dancer, a State Registered Nurse (S.R.N.)nursing at Mearnskirk and Kilearn Hospitals in Scotland.Jan served as Head Supervisor Health and Physical Education Department at the old YWCA building on Church Street.She was the chair person of the Hamilton Red Cross Corp. and InternationalFirst Aid examiner. Jan earned a Gold Star in ballroom dancing , teaching at Dunlop Drive Senior’s Centre and her own Ladies Fitness Club.Following, Jan’s wishes, cremation has taken place . Her ashes will be interred in Scotland at a later date. Memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. (and may be made by calling Patrick J.
