Obituary of Norma Baynton

Baynton, Norma Peacefully after a brief illness at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Wednesday, November 10, 2010. In her 90th year, Norma Mary Baynton (nee Day), beloved wife of the late Clifford (Peter) Baynton. Loving mother of Andrea Baynton. Dear sister of Stanley Day (Margaret), Audrey Fournier (late Bob), Wilf Day (Flo) and Robert Day (Jackie). Dear sister-in-law of Hazel Baynton (late Wilf). Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews and good friends. Predeceased by a sister-in-law of Lillian Shapley, and two brothers-in-law of Claude and Wilf. Norma’s family wish to express their sincere thanks to Dr. J. Child, the doctors, nurses and staff of the ER, the Telemetry Unit, and I.C.U.. Special thanks to the friends and staff she met over the last five years at Anchor Point. Friends may call at the Patrick J. Darte Funeral Chapel, 39 Court St., St. Catharines (905-685-6584) on Friday November 12, 2010 from 7 to 9pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday morning November 13, 2010 at 11am. Memorial donations to the St. Catharines General Hospital Foundation, the Alzheimers Society or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
