Roberts, Rose Peacefully at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Saturday January 15, 2011. In her 82d year, Rose Anne Roberts (nee MacDonald), beloved wife of the late George Roberts. Loving mother of Wilfred Seward(Marie), Rose Cameron, Joe Seward, Susan(Johnny Rose), Marg (Galen Nutbrown), Gail (Steve Watts), John Seward (Judy), Gary Seward (Debbie), Rose (Reg Francis), Cathy (Lionel Vielenuve). Loving grandmother of twenty-eight Grandchildren and many great grand children. Fondly remembered by her brothers, sisters, cousins, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a daughter Margaret and by her sons Gerard and Gary.Specially remembered by Rosie Roberts and her daughter Hailey, who took care of Grandma. Friends may call at the Patrick J. Darte Funeral Chapel, 39 Court St., St. Catharines (905-685-6584) on Tuesday, January 18, 2011 from 7 to 9pm, Wednesday January 19, 2011 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Alfred’s Church, 272 Vine St., St. Catharines on Thursday January 20, 2011 at 11am. The Rite of Committal to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Vigil prayers will be celebrated at the funeral home on Wednesday afternoon January 19, 2011 at 3pm. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
