Gionet, Michel “Mike” ~ Suddenly at his home in St. Catharines on Sunday January 30, 2011. In his 56th year, Mike Gionet, loving husband of Anna Gionet (nee Reynolds). Loving father and stepfather of Brigitte (A.J. Godin), Gidget (Shaun Campbell), Michel Jr., Michael Gretzinger and Darin Gretzinger. Loved Poppa of Bryce, Ryleigh, Payton, Brody, Ethan, Sawyer, Callen, Kaiden, Kaily-Anna, Tyler, and Bella. Loved son of Arthur and Yvonne Gionet. Dear brother of Marcel (Jo-Ann), Guy and Sue (Ron Pilon). Fondly remembered by his brothers and sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews and numerous uncles and aunts. Mike was a welder for thirty-one years at the Port Weller Dry Docks … Seaway Marine & Industrial Inc.. Friends may call at the Patrick J. Darte Funeral Chapel 39 Court Street, St. Catharines (905-685-6584) on Wednesday February 2 from 2- 4pm and 7-9pm. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday, February 3, 2011 at 1:30pm. Memorial donations to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
