Uyede, Fumiko (Mabel) Peacefully at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Wednesday, June 22, 2016. In her 92nd year, “Mabel” Fumiko Uyede (nee Tanouye),beloved wife of Toshio (Ted) Uyede. Loving mother of Ken (Carol)and Ron (Margaret). Loved grandma of Jonathan (Beth), Justine (Michael),Jordan, Andrew (Katie), Sarah and Cara. Proud great grandma of Nyah, Harry and Samson. Dear sister of Kay , Tosh (Kathy), Shiz and Susie (Shig). Fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a daughter Lois and by one sister and three brothers. Visitation will be held at the Patrick J. Darte Funeral Chapel, 39 Court Street, St. Catharines (905-685-6584) on Monday, June 27, 2016 from 6pm to 8pm and Tuesday, June 28, 2016 from 9am until time of service in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at 11am. Memorial donations to Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
