Obituary of Gerald Howe

Howe, Gerald WWII veteran Peacefully at the Chateau Gardens Niagara in Niagara-on-the-Lake on Saturday February 19, 2011. In his 89th year, James Gerald Howe,Beloved husband of the late Lillian Howe (nee Campus). Loving Father of Patrick Howe and Linda Mason. Dear grandfather of Laura and Marsha Mason. Dear brother of Bill Howe (Rose). Dear brother-in-law of Dorothy Crothers, Gordon Campus (Gilda), Eleanor Campus, Anne Howe, Lillian Howe and Mamie Howe. Fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents William and Anne , and by his brothers Justin, Ted and Paul Howe, by one brother-in-law Jack Campus. Gerald was a proprietor of Howe’s Red & White, he served in the Navy during World War II, and was an active member of St. Denis Catholic Church. Darte Funeral Chapel, 39 Court St., St. Catharines on Monday, February 21, 2011 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Denis Catholic Church, 230 Lake Street, St. Catharines on Tuesday February 22, 2011 at 11am. Rite of Commital to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery.
